DESCRIPTION: This is a unique gold plated base metal plate of famous Romanian king MIHAI VITEAZUL (MICHAEL THE BRAVE) 1593-1601.
Michael the brave was famous for unification of three Romanian states WALLACHIA, MOLDAVIA & TRANSYLVANIA. The difference between the seal and the plate is on description and the images on the top where is eagle. On the seal the inscription is IO MIHAILI UGROVLAHISCOI VOEVOD ARDEALSCOI MOLD ZEMLI" which means: Io Michael Wallachian Voivode of Transylvanian and Moldavian Lands". While the inscription on the plate is as follows: IO MIHAIL EVEGO IO NEKOLA VOEVODAR V ZEMLI MOLD which means: IO MIHAIL REPRESENTS IO NIKOLA VOIVOD OF MOLDAVIA. The upper inscription is the same as on the seal. The upper image is different. On the seal the Moldavian eagle is holding cross on his mouth and his head is turned left, the wings are spread while at the plate the Moldavian eagle has head turned right walking.
