Securency has launched its latest substrate infused security feature – LATITUDE™ – at the 2010 Currency Conference in Buenos Aires. LATITUDE™ is unique to Guardian® polymer banknote substrate. LATITUDE™ takes optically variable device (OVD) technology to a whole new level. For the first time, LATITUDE™ provides design freedom with the ability to occupy multiple sites and larger areas of the banknote in a cost effective manner, giving the public an instant recognition feature.
